Dukart's Digest is an educational reference application covering equine anatomy, health, horsemanship, management, and industry topics. It includes learning content, quizzes, calculators, reference guides, record-keeping tools, and an AI assistant.
It is a study and reference aid. It is not a diagnostic tool, a treatment system, or a substitute for professional judgment.
Nothing in Dukart's Digest is veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The app does not create a veterinarian-client-patient relationship.
Always consult a licensed veterinarian for any question about a specific horse's health, medication, injury, or condition. Only a veterinarian who has examined your horse can diagnose or treat it.
In an emergency, call your veterinarian immediately. Do not use this app in place of emergency veterinary care, and do not delay contacting a professional in order to consult it.
Health and treatment information in the app is general educational material. It describes conditions and practices as they are commonly understood. It cannot account for your horse's history, current condition, medications, or circumstances.
The app includes calculators and reference tables covering feed, medication, withdrawal periods, body condition, and related topics. These produce estimates based on the values you enter.
Verify every result with a licensed veterinarian before acting on it. This applies especially to anything involving medication, dosage, or competition withdrawal times. An incorrect entry, an out-of-date reference value, or a factor the calculator does not model can all produce a wrong answer.
You are responsible for confirming that any figure you rely on is correct and current for your horse and your jurisdiction.
Ailah is an AI assistant built into the app. When you send it a message, that message is transmitted over the internet to be processed and answered. See the Privacy Policy for details on what is sent and where.
Ailah generates responses automatically. It can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. Treat its answers as a starting point for your own research, not as fact and not as professional guidance. The same veterinary disclaimer above applies to everything Ailah says.
Do not send Ailah information you would not want transmitted off your device.
The app describes educational programs, regulations, registries, competition rules, insurance products, and legal frameworks. This information was accurate to the best of our knowledge when written, but it changes.
Course listings, tuition figures, admission requirements, transport regulations, testing rules, and legal provisions must be verified with the responsible institution or authority before you rely on them. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or speaking for any institution, registry, governing body, or regulator named in the app.
Legal and contract content is general information about how these instruments commonly work. It is not legal advice. Consult a lawyer licensed in your province or state for any specific matter.
Horse profiles, health logs, progress, and other records you enter are stored on your device.
There is no backup and no cloud sync. If you delete the app, reset your device, or lose it, that data is gone and cannot be recovered by us or by anyone else. Keep independent records of anything you cannot afford to lose — particularly veterinary and medication history.

Records you enter about your own horses remain yours.
Dukart's Digest is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its content is complete, accurate, or current.
Equine science, regulations, and best practice all change. Content that was correct when written may become outdated.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the creator of Dukart's Digest is not liable for any loss, injury, death, illness, financial loss, regulatory penalty, or other damage arising from your use of the app or reliance on its content — including harm to a horse.
You use the app at your own risk, and you remain responsible for the decisions you make about your animals.
These terms may be updated. The current version is always published here, and continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
